What does a GT project look like?

A Gathering Tools project aims to collect data, ensure its quality, and synchronise it with a database from which it will be used.

The basic building blocks of a project are typically arranged as follows:

  • A questionnaire for setting up parameters enables the project’s reference data to be updated
  • An input questionnaire to collect data from the entities under your responsibility
  • Eventually, a dashboard is used to display the collected data
  • All the documents are synchronised with a database (called the “client database”),which stores and processes the data.

A project mobilises different types of users, each with the features and rights to carry out the assigned tasks.

Each project is different and has its own organisation. However, certain tasks are always assigned to managers: these generic tasks are described in the following articles.
