The address book is a “pool” of users. Users may or may not have an account.

Address Book example

Technically, the address book is a table or a view in the client database. This table/view must, at the very least, contain the users’ email address and this email address is the key to the address book: it must be unique. Other fields can be present, which will allow the core to be enriched and, therefore, the messages and data of the published documents.
